The Email Intelligence Report Suite gives you a clearer picture of your email list health—so you can send smarter, safer campaigns. This guide walks you through what each of the six reports shows, why it matters, and how to take action.
How to Get Started
To retrieve reports older than 7 days, navigate to the Dashboard, scroll to your files, and select the Report button for the desired file. For files within the last 7 days, access the view more menu of the file and download the report file from there. You will receive a single CSV file encompassing all six reports, with each report providing unique insights in its own column.
Report 1: Email Intelligence Report
What it shows: Types of threats in your list.
Webbula’s hygiene engine runs more than 50+ proprietary filters to scan for known risks. These filters are grouped into five categories you’ll see as letter flags in your report:
- R (Reputation): Legal traps, blacklists — suppress these.
- F (Fraud): Bots, phishers — treat as security risks.
- D (Delivery): Syntax errors, disposable inboxes — fix or remove.
- C (Conversion): Emails unlikely to engage (like admin@) — use with caution.
- B (Beta): New or experimental filters — for experienced email marketers.
Use this chart to help decide actions to take based on threat flags attached to records in your insert file:
Why it matters: These threats can damage sender reputation and block inbox delivery. Removing them helps protect your email investment.
Note: If your file only triggered one type of threat, your Email Intelligence Report may appear collapsed to protect Webbula’s data partnerships. Rest assured, the full hygiene process—including all 50+ threat filters—was still conducted behind the scenes. This ensures you always get the same deep scan, even if the output is condensed.
Report 2: Verification Intelligence Report
What it shows: Which emails are actually deliverable.
- V (Valid): Ready to send — ensure you have consent and use best practices
- U (Unknown): Uncertain — test in small batches (indicates greylisting domains)
- I (Invalid): Will bounce — suppress
Why it matters: Bounces hurt sender reputation. This report helps keep your list clean and reliable.
Report 3: Email Enhancement Intelligence Report
What it shows: Opportunities to enrich your data.
- Email Alternative: Suggested better matches (22% in the sample).
Why it matters: More accurate emails = better targeting and engagement. Enhancements help you personalize and improve performance.
Report 4: Activity Intelligence Report
What it shows: Engagement history and trends.
- First Seen: When Webbula first detected the email (e.g., over 1 year ago).
- Recent Activity: Most recent engagement (e.g., last 30 days).
- Activity Trajectory: Is activity speeding up or slowing down?
Why it matters: Helps you identify warm, cold, or inactive contacts so you can prioritize who gets emailed—and when.
Report 5: Social Media Intelligence Report
What it shows: Whether an email is tied to social activity.
Why it matters: These contacts are great for social and mobile campaigns. Also helps clarify Unknowns from verification.
Note: SMA works best with B2C emails. It’s not for bounce detection and isn’t supported by LinkedIn.
Report 6: Domain Intelligence Report
What it shows: Top domains and email sources.
- Top Domains: e.g., gmail.com (9.6%), yahoo.com (0.8%)
- Unique Domains: How diverse your file is (18,694 in sample).
Why it matters: Too many free or risky domains can hurt deliverability. This report helps you spot and sort trusted vs. suspicious sources.
